1. About these terms

1.1 These terms apply to every tour you book with Park The Bus Football Tours Ltd, whether you book a place on a scheduled tour, book a private tour for your group, or book on behalf of your clients as a travel trade partner. Please read them before you book. By confirming a booking you accept them on behalf of yourself and everyone in your group.

1.3 Words we use.

  • "We", "us", "our" means Park The Bus Football Tours Ltd.

  • "You" means the person or organisation making the booking and, where it makes sense, every guest in the group.

  • "Tour" means any coach tour, walking tour or custom itinerary we provide.

  • "Scheduled Tour" means a tour on a set date that individual guests book places on.

  • "Private Tour" means a tour we run for one group only, including custom itineraries.

  • "Trade Partner" means a tour operator, destination management company (DMC), travel agent or other business that books tours for its own clients.

  • "Booking Confirmation" means the written confirmation we send you by email.

1.4 Bookings made through other websites. If you booked through a third-party platform such as Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook or Headout, that platform's payment and cancellation terms apply to your booking. These terms apply to everything else about how your tour runs.

2. Our tours

2.1 Stadiums are seen from the outside. Our Premier League Grounds tour, West London Clubs tour and walking tours visit stadiums from the outside only. They do not include stadium tours, museum entry or access to any part of a stadium that is not open to the public. Stadium interior visits are only included where your Booking Confirmation says so (see clause 7.2).

2.2 Ted Lasso tour. Our Ted Lasso & Film Locations tour includes pitch-side access at Hayes & Yeading United FC, subject to the club's availability on the day.

2.3 No official connection. We are an independent tour company. We are not connected to, endorsed by or sponsored by the Premier League, any football club, Apple TV+, Warner Bros. or the makers of Ted Lasso. Club names, stadium names and show titles are used only to describe where we go.

2.4 Your guide. Most tours are led by Andrew Sandilands, our Founder and lead guide. When Andrew is not available, your tour will be led by one of our experienced football guides. For Private Tours we confirm your guide's name before the tour.

2.5 What is included. Your Booking Confirmation sets out exactly what your tour includes. Unless it says otherwise:

  • Coach tours include a professional guide, the vehicle and driver, parking and the driver's tip.

  • Walking tours include a professional guide.

  • Coach tours include time to visit club shops where they are open.

2.6 What is not included. Unless your Booking Confirmation says otherwise, tours do not include official stadium tours or entry fees, match tickets, food and drink, merchandise, public transport.

2.7 Itineraries are a guide. Times and the order of stops are approximate. Traffic, match days, events and club opening hours can all affect the day, and our guide may adjust the route to make the most of your time.

3. Booking, prices and payment

3.1 When your booking is confirmed. A contract between us starts when we send your Booking Confirmation. Please check it straight away and tell us about any errors.

3.2 Prices. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The price shown in your Booking Confirmation is the price you pay.

3.3 Private Tours, Walking Tours and Trade Partner bookings. Prices are per group, per day or half day. Coach tour prices are based on group size and vehicle. Walking tour prices are based on group size, duration and the number of guides needed. Our written proposals are valid for 30 days. To confirm a booking, whether for a coach tour, a walking tour or an itinerary that combines both:

  • a deposit of 30% is due at the time of booking; and

  • the balance is due no later than 21 days before the tour.

If you book within 21 days of the tour, the full amount is due at booking. If a payment is not received on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you and apply the charges in section 4.

3.4 Group numbers. Please give us your final group size no later than 14 days before the tour. We can add guests after that if there is space in the vehicle. If your group gets smaller, the group price does not go down, because our vehicle and guide costs are fixed per day.

3.5 Trade Partners. Our trade rates are net rates. You set your own selling price and are responsible for collecting payment from your clients. You must give your clients the key information about the tour, including that stadium visits are exterior only unless stated, and that we are not connected to any club or show. You may only use our tour descriptions and images to promote our tours, and must not describe our tours as official.

3.6 Information about your group. Please tell us at booking about any guests under 18, accessibility needs, medical conditions that could affect the tour, and the name and contact number of your group leader.

4.4 Third-party costs. Where we have booked something for you with a third party, such as a stadium tour, and that cost cannot be refunded to us, it is charged in full on top of the charges above.

4.5 Changing your date. We will try to move your tour to another date if you ask at least  30 days before the tour, subject to availability and any price difference. A date change requested less than 30 days before is treated as a cancellation.

4.6 Running late. Tours leave on time so the rest of the day runs to plan. If you or your group arrive late, we will wait where we reasonably can, but the tour may be shortened and no refund is due for time lost.

4.7 Your legal rights. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, there is no 14-day right to cancel bookings for leisure services on a specific date. Nothing in this section affects any other rights you have by law.

5. If we change or cancel your tour

5.1 Changes to your itinerary. We may need to change the order of stops, timings, the route, the vehicle or the guide. This can happen because of traffic, match days, security measures, club or venue closures, weather or guide illness. We will always aim to give you a tour of the same standard, and no refund is due for small changes like these.

5.2 Bigger changes. If we need to make a significant change to your itinerary, we will tell you as soon as we can. You can then choose to accept the change, move to another date, or cancel for a full refund.

5.3 If we cancel. If we cancel your tour, we will offer you another date or a full refund of the money you paid us.

5.4 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Examples include severe weather, strikes, road closures, police or security action, public health restrictions, and fixture changes or closures by clubs. If such an event stops your tour going ahead, we will offer another date or refund the money you paid us for any part of the tour we could not provide.

5.5 We are not responsible for travel to the pickup and drop-off points for your tour.

6. On the day

6.1 Meeting point. Please be at the meeting point shown in your Booking Confirmation 15 minutes before departure.

6.2 Safety and behaviour. Please follow the instructions of your guide and driver. Wear a seatbelt where one is fitted. Smoking, vaping and drinking alcohol are not allowed on our vehicles. We may refuse to carry, or ask to leave, anyone who is drunk, abusive, puts others at risk or damages property. No refund is due in that case, and you are responsible for the cost of any damage you cause.

6.3 Club and venue rules. Clubs and venues set their own rules, for example on bags, photography and access. You must follow them while visiting.

6.4 Children. Guests under 16 must be with a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.  School and youth groups must bring enough supervising adults. The group's own leaders are responsible for supervising young people throughout the tour.

6.5 Accessibility and health. Tours involve some walking and getting on and off vehicles, and walking tours involve walking on city streets for most of the tour. Please tell us about any accessibility needs or medical conditions when you book, so we can plan for them. We will do what we reasonably can to help, but some stops and vehicles may not be fully accessible.

6.6 Your belongings. You may leave shopping on the vehicle during the tour, but belongings are left at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss or damage to your belongings unless it is caused by our negligence.

6.7 Photos. Our guide may take group photos to share with you and on our social media. Please tell your guide if you would prefer not to appear. We will not publish photos where children can be identified without the group leader's or a parent's permission.

7. Match tickets, stadium visits and other suppliers

7.1  Match tickets are not normally offered but can occassionally be provided on request.  Match tickets will be treated as an add-on to our tours.

  • (a) Where tickets come from. We buy tickets directly from the home club where possible with the club's written authorisation to supply them to our tour guests or from a trusted corporate hospitality supplier. We do not buy tickets from any other source. We are not a ticket reseller.
    (b) Availability. Tickets depend on what the club makes available to us. They are not confirmed until we confirm them in writing. Tickets for high-demand matches may not be available, and seats may not be together.

  • (c) Guest details. Please give us the full name and any other details the club asks for, for each guest by the date we tell you. Clubs may ask guests to show photo ID at the stadium.

  • (d) Tickets cannot be passed on. Each ticket is for the named guest only. Guests must not sell, transfer or give away their ticket. In the UK it is a criminal offence to sell or pass on a ticket for most professional football matches without the club's permission. If a ticket is passed on, the club may cancel it and refuse entry, and no refund is due.

  • (e) Price and payment. Tickets are priced as shown in your Booking Confirmation and must be paid in full when we confirm them. Once we have bought tickets from the club, they cannot be refunded by us, in addition to any charges in section 4.

  • (f) Club rules. Every ticket is subject to the club's own ticket terms and ground regulations, including rules on entry, bags, alcohol and behaviour, and on wearing rival club colours in home areas. Clubs may refuse entry or remove anyone who breaks their rules. We are not responsible for a club's decision to refuse entry.

  • (g) Fixture changes. Match dates and kick-off times often change for television, sometimes only a few weeks before. If a match is moved, postponed, abandoned or played without fans, the club's own policy applies. We will pass on any refund the club gives us, and help rearrange your tour where we can.

7.2 Stadium visits and add-ons. Stadium tours and other add-ons are only included where your Booking Confirmation says so. We book them with the club or venue in advance, subject to availability, and they are priced on top of the tour. They are subject to the club's or venue's own terms. Clubs can cancel or change these visits at short notice, for example because of fixtures or events. If that happens we will refund what the club refunds to us, or arrange an alternative where we can.

7.3 Clubs and venues. Club shops, grounds and other venues on our route are run by third parties. We cannot guarantee their opening hours or what is available on the day.

7.4 Vehicles. Our coaches and minibuses are supplied with professional drivers by licensed UK coach operators chosen by us.

8. Liability, complaints and legal terms

8.1 What we are always responsible for. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

8.2 If you are a consumer. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for any business losses. Subject to clause 8.1, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the tour.

8.3 If you are a Trade Partner or other business. Subject to clause 8.1, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for each booking is limited to the price paid for that booking.

8.4 Insurance. We hold public liability insurance. Certificates are available to Trade Partners on request. We recommend that all guests have their own travel insurance.

8.5 Complaints. If something is not right on the day, please tell your guide straight away so we can try to fix it. If it is still not resolved, email info@parkthebusfootballtours.com within 28 days of the tour and we will reply within 14 days.

8.6 Your personal information. We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

8.7 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you booked applies to your booking.

8.8 General. If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. For Trade Partner bookings, these terms and your Booking Confirmation are the whole agreement between us, and any terms you send us do not apply unless we agree in writing.

8.9 Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
